Electrical Design Engineer

With years of electrical engineering experience, I have a feeling of deep happiness when a design decision that I was responsible for is showcased in a newly released product.

I just beam at the thought that, “Hey! I made that!” I would like to have that same feeling again in a future role within the industry. I am an engineer who is motivated by the chance to define design decisions, often difficult ones that will benefit millions of users worldwide.

Using my skills in electrical engineering (see last page of resume) as well as my board and system level knowledge. I can make a real and lasting difference at your company… (if given the opportunity)

Founder / Electrical Design Engineer - MedHealth.Tech

Research in medical design that continually pushes the boundaries of technology and ultimately improves a medical device’s user experiences while motivated by the chance to define medical device design decisions, often difficult ones that will benefit millions of patients and medical professionals worldwide.

  • Understanding of product concept through to mass production weighing critical impact on overall design.
  • Worked daily with multi-functional technology teams on various medical devices (from hearing-aids to ventilator designs during covid) in a sometimes fast-paced environment / time schedule.
  • Understanding of design and integration of custom hardware into constrained systems Electrical engineering

Electrical Engineer - GE DANAHER

Worked daily with multi-functional technology teams on intraoral x-ray machines in a sometimes fast-paced environment time schedule

  • Schematic capture and PCB layout using EDA tools
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Understanding of analog, mixed signal, and especially power designs in which I designed a electrical schematic solution to continue the marketing of failed intraoral x-ray devices

Electrical Engineer - Baxter Healthcare

Worked daily with multi-functional technology teams on infusion pumps in a sometimes fast-paced environment / time schedule.

  • Electrical engineering fundamentals including analog and digital design
  • (Electrical) SME - Subject Matter Expert - Known as “go to” electrical resource for all electrical hardware engineering issues on all current Baxter products.
  • Lead legacy EOL and current sustaining activities on medical infusion pumps and other medical devices.

Embedded Software Engineer - Baxter Healthcare

Worked daily with multi-functional technology teams on infusion pumps in a sometimes fast-paced environment / time schedule as an embedded software engineer in V&V.

  • Personally “hand wrote” 2000 pages of functional returns in C, C++, and ASM/Assembly (just about 6 months of work) following medical device software regulatory guidelines: FDA’s GDP, GLP, and GMP processes under supervision of senior software engineers.
